This beautiful lacewood box features a hinged spalted river birch top. The reclaimed river birch wood was dried in my shop for 18 months before revealing it’s exotic pattern as a result of the spalting process. This box is built with frame and panel construction, high-quality solid brass Brusso hinges, keyed miter joints, and is professionally lined with high quality black velvet.
