This beautiful padauk keepsake box features a spalted river birch top. The reclaimed river birch wood was dried in my shop for 18 months before revealing it’s exotic pattern as a result of the spalting process. This box is built with frame and panel construction and keyed miter joints, and professionally lined with high-quality black velvet.
